Grades 3-5

Thursdays beginning October 25-December 13 (No Class on Thursday, November 22)

Under the guidance of our expert coaches, kids enjoy exposure to and participation in new weekly activities, including soccer, hockey, football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, kickball track and field, and fitness circuit.

Our expert coaches will spend the first 2 weeks on the same sport teaching skills and doing drills. A new sport will then be introduced for weeks 3 & 4. The final sport will be introduced and taught on weeks 5 & 6. The final week 7, we will combine the 3 sports in a station rotation for an hour of relays and games. The class will be 1 hour on Tuesday for K-2 and 1 hour on Thursday for 3-5.

She has been an athlete her whole life playing competitively in basketball, volleyball, hockey, ultimate Frisbee, flag football and a few other sports. Stephanie started coaching soccer to children when she was 14 years old. She also put on the “black and white” stripes and refereed for a few years. Stephanie earned her BA in Criminology  from USF in May and will be starting grad school in the fall. Her ultimate goal is to get her masters in criminal  justice and criminal investigation. Stephanie’s enthusiasm for kids and sports is outstanding which helped in making her the lead instructor with the Sports Fun company. Stephanie taught sports to the kids at Wiregrass over the summer and is looking forward to working with the school in October for the Explorations Program.
