Why is this being cancelled, but PLACE is still open?

Is this PLACE??

What about the clients that enrolled already and PAID the registration fees?

So wrong for families who work and now have to take a leave of absence from work!

I just spoke to someone in finance. If you paid the registration fee, you can call them and get refunded. The numbers for this program are down across the county. They will revisit in Dec/January. The first semester it will be closed.

Is this all of middle school?? Hudson middle and crews lake middle aren’t even on the list for registration, do they have a different program??

Is this the same as Place before/after school program

So PLACE has stayed open all summer but nothing for when school starts? Makes sense 🙄

Is beyond the bell the middle school program? Or elementary?

The significant price increases are quite disappointing. Making parents pick up the offset for less onsite students 😞

I have tried several times to return the voice mail I received concerning the closure of Cypress PLACE. While I am highly disappointed at the lack of consideration and lack of parent and community collaboration on this matter, I like many other parents have continued to work during this pandemic and working from home is not an option for my family. The concern is high that a program that is designed to enrich the children has caused them to have to endure more change this year, attend a morning program environment they are unfamiliar with along with unknown staff and then get shuttled to their regular school. I know how resilient children are but given the difficulty adults have had this year it is sad and disappointing that the Pasco After School Enrichment Program is adding to this. I wish consideration was given to the highly and evidenced base proof that small setting and more individualized attention is beneficial for children’s growth, development and enrichment.

Prices increased (which I was ok with) and our student is now being bussed to a different school for care? We have loved the PLACE program and this is so disappointing. I understand challenges with decreased enrollment, but take advantage of the lower numbers and deceased exposure!

Regarding the schools that are now not hosting, do we need to reregister? I registered and paid for 2020-21 at Deer Park on July 11. Deer Park is now not hosting and is shuttling to Seven Springs. Do I need to take any additional steps to register the location change, or is that assumed since he is registered for Deer Park?

The price increase is absolutely ridiculous! It’s $5 a week less than Camp Wow which is an all day tuition. So annoyed 😑

We miss all of our PLACE fans and hope to see you all again soon.

40% price increase???????!!!!!! Ridiculous 😳

I thought the price increase was temporary just for the summer. I'm disappointed to see it's going to stay elevated for the rest of the school year? My daughter also attends Deer Park Elementary and fortunately she's old enough now to be able to ride her bike back and forth so there won't be any program for us <whew>

I sent a PM

Wow prices jumped drastically
